Ive been thinking a lot about my past failures, mistakes, embarassments, etc.
And realizing how much I have changed, and been improved.
I still make so many mistakes but ive learned this week. its all about our perspective, there are no mistakes just learning.
Ive been thinking of some really really dumb things ive done in the past and i was wishing i never ever did that and it grieved me, but now i switched my perspective and now Im grateful for my mistakes because thats how we grow, thats how we learn... failure+posotiveness+ willingness to change=growth!
My companion is seriously the biggest answer to prayers,. He is a very hardworker and is always striving to learn and become better. That is something I truly admire and im striving to become like him.
Especially now as District Leader im trying to do my best to learn from everyone always!
Something incredible, happened!
There are 10 missionaries in my district and I am the ONLY one from Utah! We have elders and sisters from: japan, california, mexico, chile, washington, texas and puerto rico.
Super nuts!
It makes me so excited that the true kindgom of God has reached so wide that the little utah boy is outnumbered
9-1!!!
This week Elder Larriva and I did our best to spend as much time as we could out in the area and we saw many miracles and success. But we didnt do nearly as well as we could have, we are always striving to do better and be better,
I came up with a saying for my district:
"Nunca hemos hecho suficiente"
"We have never done enough"
2 nephi 29:9
And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; FOR MY WORK IS NOT YET FINISHED; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.
I think im finally to the point of my mission where im ready to forget myself, give up everything and focus 100% on the Lord and on the People here!
Once i decided to do that, the work became easy, the work became fun! And now i never want it to end.
This week we found 3 member families who arent alll members so GOLD MINE!
This week are going to focus on discipline: discipline with, Time, Goals, and (for me food) obedience. So that we can be 100% submitted to and guided by the Lord!
Im so happy to be on bikes again,
Ive missed it!
Its been cloudy and cool super refreshing perfect weather. Although the air in some places is like weed/piss/beer smell but there are some nice clean areas too!
Man i love the people here!
A skill ive been able to develop here is people skills! Talking with people is one of the funnest things to do, getting to know them, hearing their stories, and building them up!
