Just a little throw back!

This was 4ish months ago now but I just love it so much!

Douglas, Elder Díaz and I! :)

Helaman 6:35

Not much to say this week but holy smokes ive been learning aton!

Biggest thing ive learned this week is the importance of one by one. So many times we are so stressed to get 100 things done at a time! Ill quote one of my all time favorite quotes!: dont half as* 2 things, whole as* 1 thing.

I apologixe sincerly from the bottom of my heart for my vane speaking,,, but its so true!

One by one. This is applied to everything, but especially to people! Everyday we speak with and see hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of people! So many of them dont have the joy of the Gospel in their life! Its a little overwhelming sometimes, although as we take our time with each person and do the best we can, they come, 1 by 1. :))

Miguel and Ines were baptised and confirmed this week! Miguel asked me to baptize him. My white pants are sized 43ish waist and 30ish leg haha they were like huge kung fu pants

Miguel is the sweetest! Everytime he sees me, he opens his arms and gives me the biggest little hug ever its adorable!!!

The social media team is going awesome! Im getting better and enduring the office with pushup and cartwheel breaks! Its hard for me to sit still! My companion is going home on thursday so ill need to train my new companion how to work in the Office! Its a little stressfull cuz im still not sure what im doin but thats otay!!! God lives and the Church is true so todo va a estar bien!!!

I love yall! Mission is tough but ive seen the saviors hand bless so many people through my efforts so it makes it all worth it!

Anywho! Espero que todo este bien con ustedes cuidense!

This is Just the best!

A lot has happened this week, but at the same time, mot to much.

We are comin up on my companions last week! Hes not too excited to finish, so we have been working our butts off makin every second count!

This whole mission thing is truly something very special. Ive learned a lot and ive still got a long ways to go, this week we had interviews with our mission president! A lot of people are scared of him but everytime I talk to him he seems really excited and happy! The other day he used my first name because my companion and I have the same last name so he just called me Eric... which kinda freaked me out he quickly corrected himself and saif Elder Erberg. It was silly.

On sunday we had a great lesson with the sweetest family, Alberto and Katherine. We started by reading verses from Alma 32, (I invite you all to read that chapter) we explained what exactly is faith, which brought us to Jesus Christ. We then explained his ministry and his infinite atonement through which makes it possible that we are forgiven of our sins and all that may be unfair in life can be made right through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. we explained the restoration of the Gospel through the Profet Joseph Smith. As we recited the First vision, it was as if the Holy ghost descended over us and bore testimony of that experience. That moment when Joseph saw God the father is one of the most crucial points in history, if that moment truly happened... then nothing else matters more. I know it happened, i know that Joseph knew it and I too, know that God knew it. Joseph's words are so precious, he said  "I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!

I love this work, im beggining to understand its importance! Im so very grateful for all the mistakes, and dumb stuff ive done, because they have made me who I am. "Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have Joy!". 2 nefi 2:25

I no perfect! No where close but im getting better! Im still Goofy, im getting faster at running! Ive been doing cartwheels in the streets! I love making people laugh! I love to see people have Joy, because thats the whole point of life!

We also had exchanges with Elder Sigman ( he speaks korean!) So rad!!!
Also every year theres a big christmas concert for all the missionaries, and Sister Bacon (the Director) asked me to play drums for it, so thats gonna be exciting! I let ya know how it goes!!!

Anywayss i love you all keep up the smiles, and Dont give up when it gets hard cuz thats when we lose blessings!

We are also the only spanish Elders in all of Santa Monica so we have given 7ish Priesthood blessings in the past 2 weeks so that has been a humbling and amazing experience !

Saludos!

Man! 14 months go quick!

This was a solid week! Holy smokes, my new companion: Elder Sandberg is working me like a dog haha

We are working our tooshies off.

Zone conference was great ive been putting in practice teaching the Doctrine of christ. We were teaching our friend Jose when I had a spark of revelation and a profound insight: we are always saying, the gospel is so simple, just live the Gospel of Jesus Christ... but how many people actually know what is the Gospel of Jesus Christ is? I told that to Jose and he pondered and said that his whole life he has veen taught to live the "palabra de Dios" or live the Doctrine but he too has had that question; ¿what even is the Gospel.of Jesus Christ? So we taught it step for step, faith, repentance, baptism, gift of the Holy Ghost, Endure to the End, and repeat!

Jose loved that lesson, as soon as we broke it down plain and simple, there was no question what the next step was! We then invited him to be Baptized nov 18 and he accepted! Of course we had an hermano there and he began to testify of his own baptism and how much this Gospel has has blessed him! It was amazing!!!!

Another miracle: yesterday we called our friends for church, we called Rogelia, she told us she wanted to come to church! Shes not to savvy with her phone so she asked us to drive to her house so that she could follow us to the church! We showed up and there she was ready to go!
We drove to the church with her following us in her own seperate car. It felt like gathering/herding that lost sheep it was pretty great! And of course this ward is fantastic so they all loved her and took her in!!

missions are tough! Ive had many many great privileges to be able to go through hard things! But looking back at all of them i see how God supported me through those trials and i know more and even harder trials are to come! But God has prepared me and ready to face them head on!

Ive seen how God uses his children as instrumentos to bless all his other children!. And thats why its so important to always be searching and seeking the constant companion of the Holy Ghost so that we can effectivly be his Instruments!

I have learned better how to recieve and understand the whispers of the holy ghost!

We have been able to bless a lot of people in small and simple ways. I feel like im good at helping people smile and laugh so if I can help 80-100% of the people i meet smile or laugh then thats a day well done, because the Gospel is about Joy and if ypur not Joyful or Cheer ful its not what God wants.

So this month i have helped a lot of people crack a smile and i am very grateful for that!!!

Working in the Office is VERY new and different but its really fun!.
Im district leader of 10 total missionaries 6 of which are sisters, and theres some drama sometimes haha but its all over silly things.... that get fixed in 5 minutes.

Anyway, weve veen working too hard ive been forgetting pictures but ill get some goodies this week!

Love yall keep on going!.God loved you all, he existes and wants every to come home :))
